'Interfaith Dialogue' conference held in Srinagar

 Srinagar, June 24(KNS): The JK Christian Sabha in collaboration with the United Peace Alliance Organised a National Conference on Interfaith Dialogue" at Tagore Hall Srinagar.

The statement issued to KNS reads: apart from representatives  of the National Dalit Watch,  from New Delhi,Hyderabad, Chinnai, Callcutta, Kochi and Lucknow, the conference was attended by a galaxy of socio-political activists, religious scholars from all  the major faiths, lawyers, Academicians, Writers, Journalists and Students."

" The speakers were in agreement that the religion was being weaponised and politicised by the powers that be to create divisions in the communities by spreading hate and animosity in the society. The Participants took a pledge to carry interfaith dialogue forward for the larger peace and harmony in the society,." It added.
