Ganderbal, June 16 (KNS):Three family members were died while three more were injured after an Alto car plying on Sgr-Kargil highway from Kargil to Sonamarg came under shooting stone near Zojila in central kashmirs Ganderbal district here on Sunday.

Dysp traffic Ganderbal Gulzar Ahmad Khan told KNS that the accident took place at Paani Mata near zojila in which one Alto car bearing registration number JK01H 8487 was hit by a shooting stone resulting in injuries to three persons and on spot death of three family members including one female and a child.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The deceased have been identified as Ghulam Mohi u din Sheikh son of Ghulam Hassan Sheikh age 40 years, Syeda Begum 38 yrs wife of Ghulam Mohi u din Sheikh and Zeeshan Mohi u din 14 yrs son of Ghulam Mohi u din Sheikh residents of Drass Kargil.

He said that injured have been shifted to PHC Sonamarg where from they were referred to Srinagar.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and investigation has been started.(KNS)
