Srinagar, Dec 21 (KNS): Three soldiers were killed and as many were injured after terrorists attacked two Army vehicles in Thanmandi area of Rajouri district on Thursday, officials said.
An official told KNS that the attack took place when a reinforcement was being sent to an operational site in Dera Ki Gali area of Thanamandi, where anti-terror ops was going on since last night.
He said that two army vehicles were attacked by terrorists at around 3:45 pm today even as the fire was retaliated to by the troops.
He added that during the exchange of fire 3 army soldiers lost their lives and as many injured.
“Operation is in progress and further details are being ascertained,” the official said. (KNS)
