5 Injured in Baramulla Road Accident

Baramulla, Jan 05 (KNS): Five people were injured in a road accident at Dolipora Crossing in Kreeri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district after Alto carrying passengers lost control due to overspeeding and rolled into a water canal, approximately 30 feet deep.


Reports said that the Alto, believed to be over-speeding, met with the accident at Dolipora crossing, causing the vehicle to overturn and plunge into the water canal. Following the accident locals rushed to spot and shifted the injured to SDH Kreeri for medical attention.

The injured person have been identified as Zahoor Ahmad Lone (Driver) - Son of Fatha Lone, a 45-year-old resident of Kawcheck Kreeri, Ghulam Nabi Ganie - Son of Ghulam Hassan, a 60-year-old resident of Kokawthal, 
Nuzhat Lateef Lone - Daughter of Mohd Lateef Lone, a 19-year-old resident of Dardpora. Makh Shabir - Daughter of Shabir Ahmad Khan, approximately 19 years old, residing in Dardpora and Iqra Farooq - Daughter of Farooq Ahmad Bhat, a 20-year-old resident of Kawcheck Kreeri.(KNS).(KNS)
