Srinagar, Sep 04(KNS): In a moment of pride and accomplishment, Foundation World School in Mamath, Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir, is sending a delegation of talented students to represent the state at the prestigious 3rd National Finswimming Championship to be held in Pune from September 3rd to 5th, 2023.

These young athletes have earned the honor to represent Jammu and Kashmir after excelling at the 3rd J&K UT Finswimming selection trials. The event, organized by the school, showcased the dedication, discipline, and sportsmanship of the participating students.

The selected students who will proudly represent J&K at the national championship are including Sajid ul Haq, Abdullah Lone, Qasim Bakshi, Nail Zia,
Hamzah, Abrar ul Haq and Asim.

These young finswimmers have demonstrated exceptional talent and have undergone rigorous training to reach this level. Their dedication and hard work have been recognized, and they are set to compete at the national level, where they will face other talented finswimmers from schools across the country.

Dr. Tapan Kumar Panigrahi, DRONACHARYA AWARDEE and Secretary General of the UNDERWATER SPORTS FEDERATION OF INDIA, expressed his pride in the selected students and their achievements. He highlighted that such events not only promote physical fitness but also contribute to the overall development of students. Participation provides a unique platform for students to showcase their skills, gain exposure, and represent their school with pride.
