Jammu, June 29 (KNS): Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, emphasized that Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra has a profound significance in Indian tradition as a symbol of peace, harmony, and inclusive growth.
The former Deputy Chief Minister was speaking while participating in the Parsad distribution to Sadhus at Ram Mandir Purani Mandi Jammu. Maha Mandleshwar Mahant Rameshwar Dass ji and BJP’s leader Vinay Gupta were also present.
Kavinder stated, "Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra holds great relevance in our tradition, and it serves as a beacon of peace, harmony, and inclusive growth. This annual pilgrimage brings together seekers and keepers of divine wisdom from all corners of our nation to celebrate one of the oldest spiritual traditions of India."
Kavinder said that the Yatra exemplifies the principle of Unity in Diversity, wherein people from different faiths and sects come together to contribute towards making the journey for seekers a smooth and enjoyable experience. This year's Yatra has witnessed an unprecedented increase in tourism influx within the Union Territory, which he attributed to the auspicious occasion of the holy pilgrimage and the warm hospitality extended by the citizens. "I firmly believe that the pilgrims visiting for this sacred journey will return to their respective states as the Brand Ambassadors of the new and aspiring Jammu Kashmir," Kavinder said.
Kavinder also lauded the role of Sadhu Samaj, including Mahant Rameshwar Dass ji, in arranging food and accommodation for the Sadhus visiting Jammu for Amarnath Yatra. He also praised the Langar organizations involved in supporting the Yatra, acknowledging their significant contribution to the pilgrimage's success and well-being of the devotees. Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra is not only a testament to India's spiritual heritage but also a unifying force that brings people together from diverse backgrounds and beliefs.
