The manifesto outlines the party’s plans for development and growth in the region.
According to a BJP leader, Shah will address a large gathering of supporters tomorrow, where he will present the party’s vision and promises for Jammu and Kashmir.
“This rally is seen as a crucial moment for the BJP to connect with voters and gain momentum ahead of the elections”.
Party members are enthusiastic about Shah’s visit, viewing it as an opportunity to receive guidance and inspiration for the upcoming electoral campaign.

Shah also discussed the BJP government’s achievements over the past decade, including the establishment of 59 new colleges and infrastructure projects like the 1,000 MW Pakal Dul hydroelectric project. He promised continued development under BJP rule, including plans to build 10,000 kilometers of roads and introduce a metro system.

Tourism, a key part of the BJP’s agenda, will also be a focus. Shah announced plans to develop Rajouri into a premier tourist destination and restore the beauty of Dal Lake. Other projects include building an amusement park at Tota Ground.

Shah reaffirmed the BJP’s commitment to empowering women and supporting marginalized communities, including Gujjars and Bakerwals. He praised the Modi-led government for reducing incidents of stone pelting and restoring peace, noting the reopening of cinemas and the return of peaceful religious processions.

In a pointed critique, Shah questioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s stance on the National Conference’s (NC) agenda, which includes freeing separatists and stone pelters.

Shah warned that Congress’s inability to answer these critical questions could allow parties with dangerous policies to take J&K backward.

In closing, Shah urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to support the BJP in continuing the region’s path toward peace and development, asserting that only Prime Minister Modi could deliver a terrorism-free and prosperous J&K.

J&K BJP Chief Ravinder Raina praised Shah for his dedication to the region, while Dr. Nirmal Singh called it a historic day for Jammu and Kashmir, commending Shah’s efforts in driving progress for the region’s people.(KNS)
