Srinagar, February 27 (KNS): Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, IAS, Director, Sericulture J&K today called on Dr. Farooq Fareed Nabi, Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Srinagar, at his office. The meeting was held in a cordial and vibrant atmosphere, where both officers engaged in extensive deliberations on various important issues, particularly focusing on the welfare and skill development of ex-servicemen and the widows of martyred soldiers.
During the discussions, Mr. Bhat emphasized the importance of including the widows of martyrs and retired ex-servicemen in the skill development programs of the Sericulture Department. He highlighted that equipping them with the latest sericulture techniques would not only provide them with sustainable livelihood opportunities but also enable them to support their families more effectively.
