Srinagar, September 06 (KNS): Dr. Ahmed Bilal, a world-renowned holistic healer, and health face reader recently made history by giving the Azaan (Islamic call to prayer) in the Basilica Sant Vicente Ferrer Church in Valencia, Spain.
Dr Ahmed who very much like Ibni Batuta is a globe trotter who travels for work a lot as he is one of the very few in this unique field of profession, hence he is called to many different countries to use his expertise and be of benefit to people globally,he attends conferences to lecture on natural healing and also runs workshops to educate people on holistic healing which encompasses healing through body mind and soul, which allows the body to heal naturally without the use of chemicals and invasive surgery etc.Through this travel he also always keeps himself up-to-date with new findings and research in the world off Holistic healing and finds innovative yet effective ways in which people can heal naturally.
Since Spains fall from Muslim rule Athaan in these now churches have not been given except in Cordoba in the year 1933 where Alamah Iqbal (RA) who also through special permission was able to give athaan and pray salaah in the famous Qurtuba mosque, Alamah Iqbal (Rahimullah) was a famous poet and philosopher who's parents were of Kashmiri origin also and his religious beliefs were influenced by a famous Kashmiri scholar Molana Anwar Shah Kashmiri who guided Alamah Iqbal (Rahimullah) to follow the correct teachings of Quraan and sunnah.
Dr Bilal who is Kashmiri born was afforded this opportunity approximately 800year and 90 years after Alamah Iqbal (Rahimullah) to give Athaan in what was once a mosque but in the State of Valencia Spain which until today has many attractions owed to the Islamic rule.
Many have tried to achieve this from all the world but this has miraculously happened only for these two amazing and inspiring souls Alamah Iqbal (Rahimullah) and Dr Bilal, this is certainly a moment that will remain etched in the books of history for a centuries to come.
It is important to understand what a great achievements this is as Islamic Spain benefitted the world in many ways which actually influenced the modern we currently live in.
The site, now a significant Christian landmark, is known for housing the Holy Grail, a revered relic believed to be the cup of Jesus (Esa AS), attracting visitors from around the world.
Speaking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), over Phone, Dr Bilal said he was granted special permission by the authorities to perform this significant act of prayer.
Dr Bilal said he was escorted through special doors, typically closed to the public, to reach the area where he made the call to prayer.
In addition to this historic act, Dr. Bilal is widely recognized for his contributions to holistic medicine. Apart from this he many accolades to his name, is also a gold medalist in this field of practice and a few years back Dr Bilal was also honoured with a knighthood award which now adds Sir to name.
Dr Bilal through his work writes words of wisdom in the form of poetry believing that words are a form of therapy and healing and refers to this as poetic medicine.
Dr. Bilal’s journey in holistic medicine began with his studies in India and Sri Lanka, followed by training in Chinese medicine in Hong Kong. He became a Canadian National in 1997 and has since been practicing as a registered holistic practitioner in Europe and Canada.
Dr Bilal from a young age had interest in becoming a healer taking his inspiration from the likes of Hakim Ajmal Khan and other great personalities
Dr Bilal is also known for his gift of Diagnostic Health Face Reading, a skill that has made him famous worldwide.
Having grown up without much of an Islamic education he was fortunate to have met a spiritual mentor by the name of Hazrat Molana Ebrahim Pandor South Africa in the year 2010. Hazrat is the khaleefah of Molana Gangohi in whose service Hazrat remained for 25 years in order attain the spiritual benefit from Molana Gangohi.
Hazrat Molana Ebrahim Pandor Saab completed his studies in Deoband Madresah where other such great personalities like Molana Anwar Shah Kashmiri had also did such.
His meeting with said Hazrat was due to Hazrats daughter needing eye treatment because she was in need of a cornea transplant and they were introduced to Dr Bilal while he was traveling to India for a conference.
Dr Bilal and Hazrat travelled through India for 3 months while Hazrat continued his spiritual and religious work and Dr Bilal did treatment for molanas daughter to restore her eyesight naturally without the need of a transplant and continued his holistic healing journey through India.
Like this both benefitted from each other and Dr Bilal learnt alot about Islam through Molana, this created a thirst in Dr Bilal who continues to read and learn to grow his knowledge and understanding about Islam.
Dr. Bilal is married to Faheemah and together they have a son Danyaal who is currently a hifdh student, Dr Bilal is also a member of numerous prestigious organizations in the field of alternative health care, including the Alternative Medicine Art Programme (Canada), the Ex member of American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (USA), and the Holistic Drugless Institute (Spain).
His contributions to the field of holistic medicine and his recent Athaan in Valencia have solidified his place as a significant figure in both the medical and spiritual communities.(KNS)
