Srinagar, Apr 21 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti Sunday said that guns, stone pelting and boycott served nothing to Kashmir cause, and urged people to cast their votes in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, and make PDP winner so that people's voice will reach to the Parliament.

Addressing an election rally in south Kashmir, PDP President Mehbooba Mufti as per KNS urged people of Anantnag-Rajouri constituency to vote on polling days and desist all methods being employed in past. She said guns, stones and boycott served no purpose to Kashmir cause instead it turned the issue into a complex one.

"Guns, stones and boycott served nothing. There is a need to step outside on the polling day and take part in a democratic exercise so that voice of people will be taken to the Parliament," Mehbooba Mufti said.

Over PAGD tussle, she alleged that National Conference leadership didn't exhibit maturity, while as she hailed NC cadre for anticipating for an alliance to give befitting reply to elements who deprived J&K of its fundamental and constitutional rights.

"It was NC leadership who didn't respond to the demand of the hour, however their cadre was willing that polls should have been fought together. Today I am happy to see cadres of different political parties including NC and Congress are participating in my rallies," Mehbooba said. (KNS)
