Health Camp Held for JKAP-8th Battalion Officers and Personnel in Miran Sahib

Jammu February 27 (KNS): A medical check-up camp was organized for all officers and officials at the JKAP-8th Battalion Headquarters in Miran Sahib in collaboration with the BMO R.S. Pura. The initiative aimed to assess the health of unit police personnel at regular intervals. 


The camp saw participation from Commandant JKAP-8th Battalion, along with other gazetted officers, who also underwent medical check-ups. The Commandant emphasized the importance of such health camps, noting that uniformed personnel often face difficulties in accessing regular medical check-ups due to their demanding duties.

A total of 208 police personnel attended the medical camp.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe camp was supported by a medical team consisting of Dr. Povinder Singh and Dr. Ashok Kumar Chowdary from the Government Hospital, R.S. Pura, who were deputed by BMO R.S. Pura. The doctors conducted thorough examinations and provided health advice to the officers and jawans for their betterment and well-being.

Additionally, Dy.SP Sh. Om Prakash Chib, Adjutant JKAP-8th Battalion, Dy.SP Sh. Bhupinder Singh, Quarter Master JKAP-8th Battalion, and Dy.SP Sh. Tilak Raj, JKAP-8th Battalion also participated in the medical check-up. The camp was part of ongoing police welfare measures to ensure the health and well-being of the force and to encourage health consciousness among the personnel.(KNS)
