JAMMU,SEP 13 (KNS): Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, has criticized NC leader Farooq Abdullah for perpetuating outdated and misleading narratives about the restoration of Article 370, asserting that Farooq's comments reflect nothing more than "dreams of Sheikh Chilli," intended to deceive the public.

Speaking at the meeting held here today, the senior BJP leader highlighted that previous attempts by various political representatives to approach the Supreme Court for the restoration of Article 370 were unsuccessful. The Supreme Court had unequivocally dismissed these petitions, underscoring the finality of the abrogation. "Dr. Farooq Abdullah's repeated assertions about restoring Article 370 are not only misleading but also a disservice to the people of Jammu and Kashmir," he said.
Furthermore, Kavinder also criticized the Congress party,

accusing it of using similar tactics to mislead the electorate. He emphasized that such strategies will not succeed in the upcoming Assembly polls, as the people of Jammu and Kashmir have become increasingly astute and discerning.

"From infrastructure projects to healthcare, education, and employment opportunities, the Modi government has transformed Jammu and Kashmir.

The region has witnessed an era of development like never before. It is crucial that we continue to highlight these achievements and make people aware of how far we have come since the abrogation of Article 370," he said.
Kavinder appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to support the BJP in the upcoming polls with an aim to continue the spree of development in the Union Territory.(KNS)
