The workers appealed to both the Jammu and Kashmir UT government and the district administration to intervene and ensure that their dues are paid at the earliest. With the holy month of Ramadan approaching, the laborers have stressed the urgency of receiving their wages before the month begins, as they rely on this income to support their families.

The delay in payments has raised concerns over the implementation of NREGA schemes and the welfare of laborers who depend on timely wages to meet their basic needs. (KNS)
