Ukharhal, February 25 (KNS),: National Conference leader and MLA, Banihal, Mr Sajjad Shaheen chaired a tehsil-level officers' meeting of Ramsoo and Ukharhal at ak Bungalow Ukharhal today to review the preparedness for ensuring the availability of essential services and commodities during the month of Ramadan. The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Ramsoo and Ukharhal besides officials from the Power Development Department (PDD), Jal Shakti Department, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Health, RDD, Revenue, PWD,PMGSY and other key departments.

During the meeting, the MLA directed the administration to ensure an uninterrupted power supply, particularly during Sehri and Iftaar hours, so that the people observing fasts do not face any inconvenience.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelEmphasis was laid on maintaining a steady supply of clean drinking water, cooking gas, and essential rations in government stores, ensuring that no household faces shortages during the month.

The MLA also instructed officials to conduct regular market inspections to prevent hoarding and overpricing of essential commodities, safeguarding the interests of consumers. He stressed the need for inter-departmental coordination to address any emerging challenges and ensure a smooth and hassle-free Ramadan for the residents of Ukharhal and surrounding areas.(KNS)
