Srinagar, April 15b (KNS): Days after a video of a youth tied to an army jeep in Budgam district went viral, police said it has registered an FIR against the army.
Police said it has registered an FIR No. under 38/17 US 342/149/506 and 367 RPC against army in police station Beerwa in Budgam district.

DIG Police Central Kashmir, Ghulam Hassan Bhat confirmed to KNS that the police has registered the FIR on April 13.
The youth in the video was identified as Farooq Ahmad Dar son of Abdur Rahim Dar of Chill area in Khansahib segment of Budgam district. The incident happened on April 13 when re-polling was held in Budgam for Srinagar parliamentary seat.(KNS)
