AAC condoles demise of Mohammad Yaqoob Vakil & others associated with Mirwaiz Family

Srinagar, Sep 3(KNS) :  Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed grief over the demise of many personalities associated with the organisation, the movement and the Mirwaiz Family.


Among the deceased personalities include renowned political and social activist Muhammad Yaqoob Vakil of Ghadiyar Zaina Kadal; mother of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, president of AAC’s Zonimar constituency; and Mirwaiz Manzil office staff Shakeel Ahmad Rather’s father-in-law Khawaja Abdul Razzaq Lone of Bota Shah Mohalla, Lal Bazar, Srinagar.

In a statement, the AAC on behalf of its leadership, especially its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq who continues to be under house arrest expressed condolence and solidarity with all the bereaved families and prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed souls.

The AAC said that Muhammad Yaqoob Vakil started his political activities under the leadership of Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq (RA). Even in unusual and unfavourable circumstances, the deceased made sincere efforts to carry forward the organisational programmes side by side with the martyred leader.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelYaqoob Sahib also worked under the leadership of the current head of the organization Mirwaiz Umar Farooq. He was also associated with Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar and rendered his services for the improvement of the Auqaf as well .

The AAC and it’s chairman expressed its condolences and solidarity with Muhammad Yaqoob Vakil’s family, especially his children Muhammad Yahya Yaqoob, Muhammad Ishfaq Yaqoob and Shahnawaz Yaqoob.

AAC also express grief at the demisie of  mother of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat the Halqa President of Zoonimar,AAC termed her  as a virtuous and pious woman.

AAC also payed  tributes to Khawaja Abdul Razzaq Lone, the AAC expressed condolence and solidarity with the deceased’s sons Ghulam Ali Lone and Farooq Ahmed Lone and his son-in-law Shakeel Ahmad Rather and all the bereaved family members. It prayed to Allah to grant Jannat-ul-Firdous to all the departed souls and forbearance to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable losses.(KNS)
