The Aalimah Foundation, operating under the brand name Gift Books, has embarked on an extraordinary journey to change things to better. This non-governmental organization (NGO) is resolute in its mission to promote education and literacy by providing free books to under privileged students, thereby closing the gap between those seeking knowledge and the valuable resources required.
In this article, we will explore the remarkable efforts of the Aalimah Foundation and its Gift Books initiative. Chapter 1: The Inception of Aalimah Foundation:
The establishment of the Aalimah Foundation was driven by a vision to offer education and empower individuals, especially those in underserved communities. It was founded by Mohammed Ayoub (Managing Director) on 1-6-2023 supported by two other Directors Qurat ul Ain Khan and Riyaz Ahmad Dar, this organization aspired to craft a world where every individual, irrespective of their socio-economic background, could have an easy access to the books he need.

There are thousands of students who have completed their studies and their books are lying in their book shelves catching dust. we try to reach out to these students and ask them to donate their used books to our organisation and so far we have received an extremely positive approach from such people as on date. We have received more than 2200 books as donations, thus we can say that these donors are the real driving force of our orginisation.
OUR MODULE OF WORK:
Under the banner of Gift Books, the Aalimah Foundation initiated a book donation program that has left an indelible mark on countless lives. Through collaborations with schools, libraries, and community centers, we try to find out those students who are not in position to buy books and provide them with the books at no cost at all.
The Volunteers Driving the Mission:
The cornerstone of the Aalimah Foundation's success lies in its dedicated volunteers and directors. They form the driving force behind Gift Books, devoting their time and effort tirelessly to gather, categorize, and distribute books. We luckly have got few best minds to work with us as our voulanteers I would like to take out their names as well here, We have a content creator in our team who looks after the designing and handling of social media accounts namely Junaid from Handwara, for record keeping of the donations received we have got Mantasha Beigh from Anantnag, For record keeping of the books dispatch to the needy we have Sammah Massodi from Sopore.
