Srinagar, Feb 06 (KNS) : In a powerful and unequivocal condemnation, the President of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian Jammu & Kashmir, Hujjatul Islam Aga Syed Hassan al-Mousavi al-Safvi, has denounced the deadly suicide attack on an Imambargah in Islamabad as a "barbaric assault on the core tenets of Islam and humanity," demanding immediate and decisive action from the Pakistani state to protect its Shia citizens.
Reacting to the tragic bombing at Imambargah Qasr-e-Khadijat-ul-Kubra in Islamabad’s Tralai Kalan area, which resulted in numerous casualties, Aga Syed Hassan al-Mousavi al-Safvi, a leading religious authority, stated that the incident is a grim testament to the enemies of Pakistan’s social fabric and Islamic brotherhood.
In a strongly worded statement released from Budgam, Aga Sahib expressed his profound grief over the "martyrdom of innocent worshippers" and extended condolences to the bereaved families. He emphasized that attacks on places of worship expose the terrorists as enemies of "entire society's peace, unity, and stability," not just of a single sect.
Holding the state accountable, Aga Syed Hassan al-Mousavi al-Safvi asserted that the shedding of blood in sacred spaces raises "serious questions about the writ of the state and its security apparatus.

Demanding exemplary justice, the Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian president insisted that the planners, facilitators, and perpetrators of this terrorism must be swiftly identified, prosecuted, and given exemplary punishment to deter future atrocities.
Issuing a grave warning, Aga Sahib expressed deep concern over the "constant fear and insecurity" under which religious minorities are living in Pakistan. He cautioned that without "seriousness, honesty, and firm state resolve," such heartbreaking tragedies will continue to recur.
Defining state responsibility, Aga Syed Hassan al-Mousavi al-Safvi concluded that it is the fundamental duty of a civilized and Islamic state to provide "complete and indiscriminate protection to all its citizens" and to ensure the absolute sanctity and security of all places of worship.
