AGS Bandipora Celebrates Children's Day

 Bandipora, Nov 14(KNS): Army Goodwill School Bandipora celebrated Children's Day in a grand manner, making the event especially significant by inviting alumni of the school.

According to an official statement, CO 14 RR was the chief guest, and other dignitaries present included the Principal of AGS Bandipore, 2ic 14 RR, all teachers, ex-teachers, and some parents.

The function witnessed the attendance of almost 300 students, alumni, the entire school staff, and the Principal. Approximately 80 students, both boys and girls, actively participated in various activities during the event, such as delivering speeches on children, singing, dance programs, cultural performances, skits, and a tribute to Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru

This special event, dedicated to the future leaders of the country, gained added significance with the presence of alumni. The purpose was to make the children and alumni feel valued and special. Towards the end, alumni took the stage and expressed gratitude for the role of AGS teachers in shaping their careers. Nostalgic about their time at AGS Bandipora, they shared their experiences and emphasized that AGS is not just a school but a home.

The alumni expressed pride in being associated with AGS Bandipora, and the event provided all participants an opportunity to showcase their skills and self-improvement. The program was deemed a complete success by the chief guest, other attendees, and the impressed alumni, who expressed gratitude to the school's team for the invitation.
