Srinagar, Sep 05 (KNS): A Class 10th student, who fell victim to a terrorist attack on Wednesday evening in the Watrigam Wanihama area of Anantnag district, has tragically succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura.
The young student, identified as Sahil Bashir, son of Bashir Ahmad Dar and a resident of Watrigam Dialgam, was attacked when terrorists opened fire, causing critical injuries. Swift medical intervention saw Sahil being rushed to GMC Anantnag for initial treatment. However, due to the severity of his condition, he was subsequently referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced medical care.
Despite the efforts of medical professionals, the student lost his battle for life at the institute on Thursday evening.(KNS).
