Srinagar, Apr 07 (KNS): Al-Quds Day rallies under the banner of Anjuman Shria Shian were held at several places in Budgam district against the ongoing Israeli airstrikes targeting civilians in Gaza
According to a statement Agha Hasan decried the relentless aerial bombardments on Gaza and castigated the inaction of Muslim majority nations amidst the escalating humanitarian crisis.
The rallies were held at Imam Bargah Hassanabad, Imam Bargah Yagipur Magam, and Astana Sharif Chadohra, among others.
Addressing the masses the leaders underscored Israel's encroachment upon Masjid Al-Aqsa, highlighting the imposition of restrictions on religious practices and the harrowing instances of indiscriminate firing by Israeli forces upon worshippers.
They emphasized the dire plight of millions of Palestinians compelled into forced displacement due to Zionist oppression, framing their enduring struggles as a damning indictment of the Zionist ideology itself.
They demand peace and accountability in the region and urgent need for concerted international action to address the enduring plight of the Palestinian people. (KNS)
