Army foils infiltration attempt along LoC in Uri

Srinagar, Oct 22 (KNS): The Army on Sunday foiled an infiltration attempt from terrorist along the Line of Control in Uri sector in north Kashmir's Baramulla district. 


The Army in a post on X said that in a Joint operation launched by Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and Intelligence agencies on 21 Oct 23, an infiltration bid was foiled by alert troops along LoC in Uri sector, Baramulla.

It further said that the contact was established with infiltrating terrorists and firefight was ensued during which six Pistols and four hand Grenades have been recovered while operations is in progress.
