Handwara, Jan 17 (KNS): Residents of Audoora in Qalamabad area of north Kashmir's Kupwara district on Wednesday said that Panchayat has been without a building for more than seven decades.
Speaking with KNS, they said the Panchayat Committee currently operates from a single room in government middle school.
They said that despite persistent efforts to communicate this issue to the authorities, nothing has been done so far
The residents appealed to the district administration to construct a new Panchayat building so that they get some relief and people's concerns are addressed. (KNS)
