Baramulla 24 June (KNS)  8th class student of Baramulla Public higher secondary school  drowned to death in Sonamarg area of Central Kashmir Ganderbal district on Saturday.

Chief Education Officer Baramulla Balbir Singh Raina while talking to KNS said that a student of Baramulla Public Hr Sec School class 8th who was on picnic with school drowned in river sindh while talking bath.

He said that boy identified as Shoaib Farooq Chachi (14) son of Farooq  Ahmad Chachi resident of Chandousa Baramulla was taken to nearby hospital Sonamarg where doctors declared him brought dead.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and started further investigation(KNS)
