Srinagar, July 29 (KNS): Chairman Shahabad Development Forum, Malik Zahoor Ahmad met Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) the delegation had a threadbare discussion with the minister regarding sanctioning of Regional Water cum Irrigation Supply scheme for Dooru Shahabad and Hakura Badasgam.
The statement reads that the Regional Water cum Irrigation Supply will not only cater to water supply facilities but will also end the crises on account of irrigation facilities.
It reads that based on the principle of providing long term sustainable solutions and avoiding cosmetic approach and redressal to the grievances of people, Shahabad Development Forum is committed to take the region to higher peaks of development. (KNS)
