Congress to hold strategy meeting on Parliamentary polls, alliance issue on Nov 21

 
Srinagar, Nov 15 (KNS): J&K Congress will hold a crucial strategy meeting about Parliamentary polls and alliance issue in J&K on November 21, sources told KNS.

Sources said that party senior leader Tariq Hamid Karra who heads party’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC) has convened a meeting in Srinagar on November 21 in which strategy about upcoming LS polls and other public interest issues will be discussed threadbare.

“The agenda of the meeting is to discuss strategy about forthcoming Parliamentary elections which are likely to be held in the month of April-May 2024. The PAC will discuss future course of action besides measures how to stop inroads of BJP in J&K in the forthcoming elections. The meeting will also discuss alliance issue in J&K,” sources informed.

Besides public interest issues which include inflation, mounting power crisis, barring employees from protest etc will also be discussed in the meeting, they said.

When contacted senior Congress leader and party’s PAC head Tariq Hamid Karra, he confirmed the development. “Yes. A meeting has been convened on November 21 in which issues pertaining to LS polls and alliance issue within the boundaries of J&K will be discussed,” he said. (KNS)
