Cyber police seeks assistance of multi-crore scam victims

Srinagar, Dec 21 (KNS): Cyber Police in Kashmir has issued a public appeal, urging individuals who may have fallen victim to a alleged multi-crore scam or possess information related to the fraudulent activities to come forward and share their details. 
 
The appeal is part of a wider effort by cyber police to tackle the scam.
The multi-crore scam, which has raised concerns among the people, prompted the Cyber Police to take proactive measures to investigate and apprehend those involved. 
 
Authorities are keen to gather as much information as possible from the affected individuals or anyone who might have witnessed suspicious activities related to the scam.
 
The Cyber Police official emphasized the importance of public cooperation, stating that the success of their investigation heavily relies on the involvement of those who have experienced or observed any unusual online financial transactions. "Victims of the scam are urged to provide detailed accounts of their experiences, including any communication or transaction records that may assist in tracking down the perpetrators.
 
The appeal also extends to individuals who may not have been directly impacted but have information that could be crucial to understanding the modus operandi of the scam and identifying those responsible," the official told KNS.
The Cyber Police assured the public that their identities will be kept confidential, and their assistance will play a vital role in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
The Cyber Police are leveraging technological resources and collaborating with cybersecurity experts to trace the origins of the scam and ensure that appropriate legal actions are taken against the culprits.
