Srinagar, April 11 (KNS): Residents of Badhana Mohalla Nachiyan are facing severe distress due to damage to pipeline that has not only destroyed cultivable land but is now posing a threat to over a dozen houses in the area. 

 

The affected residents have appealed to the authorities to intervene and address the issue before it worsens.

 

They said that pipeline leakage issue has persisted for over a decade, but the recent escalation is causing unprecedented concerns. 

 

They said that the damage has now extended to vital residential areas, jeopardizing the safety of families and properties.

 

The residents urged the concerned department to take effective measures to rectify the situation and a long-term solution is urgently needed to safeguard lives and livelihoods. 

 

Executive engineer Shah Jahan said that the issue would be resolved within a week. (KNS)
