DLSA Srinagar & White Globe celebrate ‘National Youth Day’ at Nitians Career Institute

SRINAGAR, JANUARY 12 (KNS): The District Legal Services Authority, (DLSA) Srinagar Friday joined hands with the NGO White Globe to organize a vibrant celebration of National Youth Day at Nitians Career Institute Hawal, Srinagar.

The event, held in collaboration with various stakeholders, including students, staff members, and para-legal volunteers, was graced by the presence of Jahangir Ahmad Bakshi, Secretary DLSA, Srinagar; Syed Junaid Sadaat, Adv. Chairman White Globe, NGO; Dr. Touseef Ahmad Chairman Kashmir Concern; Sehar Nazir, Assistant LADC of DLSA, Srinagar and Sheikh Mubasir Bashir, M.D Nitians Career Institute, Hawal.

The program was organized under the guidance of Chairman DLSA, Srinagar, Jawad Ahmed.

Speaking at the event, Secretary DLSA, Srinagar underscored the pivotal role of youth in shaping the destiny of the nation. He highlighted the significance of National Youth Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, as a platform to inspire and empower the young minds.

Emphasizing the responsibilities of the youth in alignment with the Constitution, Bakshi urged the participants to embrace their civic duties and actively contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.

Chairman White Globe, shared insightful perspectives on the potential of the youth in driving positive change. He spoke passionately about the need for collaborative efforts between NGOs, educational institutions, and legal authorities to nurture a generation of responsible and aware citizens.

Chairman Kashmir Concern in his address emphasized upon the engagement of Youth and channelizing their energy for the positive good of the society.

Assistant LADC of DLSA, Srinagar, and M.D, Nitians Career Institute, Hawal, also participated as resource persons, providing valuable insights on youth empowerment and education.

Assistant LADC, DLSA Srinagar shared her inspiring story with the students and emphasized upon not losing hope even in the worst situations. Their combined expertise enriched the event, offering a comprehensive perspective on the challenges and opportunities that the youth face in contemporary society.

The collaborative efforts of DLSA, Srinagar, and White Globe, along with the active participation of Nitians Career Institute, created an atmosphere of inspiration and enthusiasm. The event served as a platform for fostering dialogue, encouraging social responsibility, and instilling a sense of purpose among the youth.

DLSA Budgam passionate on strengthening the diverse cultures of the nation; celebrates Youth Day

BUDGAM, JANUARY 12: In a vibrant and enlightening celebration of “National Youth Day”, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Budgam, under the ages of JKLSA Friday organized a day long programme on National Youth Day at ADR Centre Budgam.

The programme was organized under the able guidance of Khalil Ahmad Choudhary, Chairman DLSA, Budgam and under the supervision of Jehangir Ahmad Bakshi, Secretary DLSA Budgam.

The programme witnessed the presence and active participation of enthusiastic PLVs, Panel Lawyers, Assistant LADC and Staff of DLSA Budgam.

Abdul Rouf Parray, Asstt. LADC briefed the audience about the importance of the day. In his speech he shed light upon the Nation’s renowned personality Swami Vivekananda, as the nation’s Youth Day is celebrated on the day of his birthday.

He further said that it is the duty of the youth to carry the development of the nation on their shoulders as has been witnessed by history that the youth have played an active role in preserving and strengthening the cultural bonds of the nation.

 Mehnaza Qazi from DLSA Budgam presided over the function. In her presidential address she briefed the audience about the day’s importance.

At the end of the programme a general discussion between the speakers and participants of the programme was held.(KNS)
