Srinagar, Sept 11 (KNS): Former deputy mayor of Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Sheikh Imran is likely to join People’s Democratic Party, sources said here on Monday.

Sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that Sheikh Imran will soon join the People’s Democratic Party.

Sheikh Imran was earlier associated with People’s Conference, where he served as youth president of the party.

A prominent political activist, Sheikh Imran after resigning from People’s Conference had lately kept himself aloof from any political party in Jammu and Kashmir.

Over the past few months, sources said, strong negotiations have been going on and Imran is likely to join Mehbooba Mufti led PDP party(KNS)
