Srinagar April 17 (KNS): In a remarkable display of environmental stewardship and community engagement, Grade 7 and 8 boys from Foundation World School took the lead in a Plantation Drive held at Gogaldara, Tangmarg.
The event, which saw the active participation of approximately 50 students and school staff, was conducted in collaboration with the Forest Department.
Under the guidance of Shameem Ahmad Dobi, Block Forest Officer, and Mr. Abdul Aziz Marazi, Forester, the initiative aimed to instill a sense of responsibility towards nature among the younger generation. The event was further supported by Mr. Aijaz, PE Head at FWS, and Mr. Shadab, Event Organizer, who emphasized the critical role of environmental conservation and community involvement.
