Srinagar, Jan 10(KNS): The Ministry of Education has directed Prof. A. Ravinder Nath, Vice Chancellor of Central University of Kashmir, to assume additional charge as Director of NIT Srinagar.

This decision follows the approval to relieve Prof. Sudhakar Yedla from his responsibilities as NIT Director, effective January 9, 2024. Prof. A. Ravinder Nath will hold this additional charge for a period of six months or until the appointment of a regular Director at NIT Srinagar, whichever occurs earlier.

The move comes as part of organizational changes within the educational institutions, with Prof. Sudhakar Yedla being relieved from his current position.(KNS).
