Srinagar, Jun 12 (KNS); Jammu and Kashmir’s Health & Medical Education minister on Friday conducted a spot inspection of SDH Hazratbal and PHC Burzahama, issuing directions to resume work on a long-pending 50-bedded extension block within days.

 

The minister, accompanied by local MLA Salman Ali Sagar, took stock of the health infrastructure projects and asked the concerned departments to expedite the construction, which had been delayed for a considerable period, officials said.

 

She appreciated the MLA’s persistent efforts in pursuing the completion of the vital project and emphasised strengthening healthcare facilities in the Hazratbal constituency.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

 

At PHC Burzahama, the minister directed the district administration to complete all formalities for land transfer at the earliest to facilitate the construction of a new building for the primary health centre, they added.

 

MLA Sagar thanked the minister for her personal intervention, saying it would give fresh momentum to the critical health sector projects. He reiterated his commitment to ensuring quality healthcare across the constituency, officials added.

 

The visit reflects the government’s focused approach towards addressing long-pending developmental issues in the area, they said.(KNS)
