In Budgam, Muntazir leads a protest rally against insufficient supply of sufficient rations, uninterrupted power, and water supply

Srinagar, June 22 (KNS):  Apni Party State Secretary and District President, Muntazir Mohiuddin, led a protest rally on Thursday in central Kashmir’s Budgam. The demonstration aimed to protest against the administration's inability to ensure an adequate supply of essential commodities, such as sufficient rations, uninterrupted electricity service, and access to clean drinking water, for the people in the Union Territory (UT).

He was accompanied by the party leaders, including the constituency in charge, Mushtaq Zuhami, Constituency head, Arshad Ali; district secretary,  Wasim Dar; district organiser,  Shabir Ahmad; zonal president,  Chadoora Showkat Ahmad Bhat; and the party block presidents, including Ab Rahim Mir, Haji Mohd Yousf, Engineer Maqbool, Aijaz Ahmad Shah, Ghulam Nabi Bhat, and others.

 On this occasion, Muntazir put forward a range of demands, urging the administration to take the necessary initiatives to ensure an adequate supply of commodities to the people across Jammu and Kashmir. His demands encompassed several key aspects, including the restoration of ration quotas to their previous levels, reduction in electricity rates, removal of smart metres from residential areas, ensuring an ample supply of Kerosene oil to consumers, and reinstating widow and old age pensions to eligible beneficiaries.

During the rally, party leaders and workers were accompanied by local residents who displayed placards advocating for these demands. 
While talking to the local reporters, Muntazir said, "The people are enduring immense hardships and suffering because of insufficient ration supplies, frequent power outages, inadequate water supply to numerous areas, and various other deficiencies. These pressing issues are severely impacting the lives of individuals, leading to significant difficulties and inconveniences."

He urged the LG administration to take the necessary measures to avoid further inconvenience to the people, especially from underprivileged sections of society.(KNS)
