Srinagar, Apr 15(KNS): Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday stated that India possesses the capability to strike enemy territory from its own soil.

Speaking at an election rally in Kathua district of Jammu division, Singh emphasized India's military strength, attributing it to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Singh highlighted India's emergence as a strong nation on all fronts and referenced the surgical strikes conducted on September 28.

He criticized regional parties in Jammu and Kashmir, accusing them of exploiting Article 370 for political gain. Singh mentioned instances involving Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and Mehbooba Mufti to illustrate his point.

He also highlighted promises made by PM Modi in the BJP's manifesto, including free treatment for people above 70 years of age and the party's commitment to women's rights.

Singh urged voters to support Dr. Jitendra Singh of the BJP in the upcoming elections for the Kathua-Udhampur constituency, scheduled for April 19.(KNS).
