SRINAGAR, Mar 27(KNS): In response to Home Minister Amit Shah's statement, Apni Party leader and former minister Javaid Mustafa Mir expresses gratitude and welcomes the move as a demand of the people.

Mir expressed gratitude to Home Minister Amit Shah, stating, 'It was a demand of the people, and it is a good move. Due to this, the party can win the hearts of Jammu and Kashmir.'"

Mir believes that the consideration of pulling back troops and revoking AFSPA reflects the government's responsiveness to the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He views this as a positive step that aligns with the party's objectives of winning the hearts of the people.

Mir emphasizes the importance of restoring statehood and holding assembly elections before September 2024, as pledged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.(KNS).
