Srinagar, Dec 10 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir General Line Teachers(JKGLT) Forum on Sunday expresses condolences on the sudden and tragic passing of Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, a teacher at GMS Nanil village in south Kashmir's Anantnag district while performing his duties.
Mushtaq Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Khaliq Dar of Nanil suffered a fatal cardiac arrest while performing duties during JKSSB's Panchayat Secretary Exams at Al Ahad College of Education in Mattan, Anantnag.
Expressing apprehension regarding the facilities at examination centers, the Forum pointed out, "Numerous centers, including the one where Dar passed away, lacked heating arrangements for both staff and candidates, despite the directive for staff to report at 9:30 A.M. in cold conditions," as stated in their official release.
The JKGLT Forum expresses solidarity with the bereaved family and appeals to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to expeditiously provide ex-gratia relief, offering support to the family of the deceased teacher in this challenging period.(KNS)
