Kashmir Legislator Slams Pak Over Mosque Blast, Cites "State Failure"

 JAMMU, FEB 06 (KNS): Senior Budgam legislator Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi on Friday slammed what he called the "state failure" behind the deadly suicide bombing at a mosque in Pakistan's capital.

 
Mehdi, who also heads the Anjuman Interfaith Dialogue Chapter, told news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) that Pakistani authorities had failed in their fundamental duty to protect citizens. His remarks followed an attack that struck worshippers during Friday prayers.
 
"The recurring bloodshed in places of worship exposes a severe breakdown in security and governance," Mehdi said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe demanded immediate and concrete action from the Pakistani government, stating that mere condemnations are no longer sufficient.
 
He expressed solidarity with the victims' families and called for united prayers, while stressing that true solidarity must be backed by decisive policy action to dismantle terrorist safe havens. (KNS)
