Srinagar, June 27(KNS): A militant was killed in a gunfight with the security forces in south Kashmir's Kulgam district, police said on Tuesday.
“01 local terrorist neutralised. Identification & affiliation being ascertained. Incriminating materials including arms & ammunition recovered. Search going on. Further details shall follow,” said the Kashmir police zone in a tweet.
Earlier, the Gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in the area and a soldier was injured in the initial exchange of fire.(KNS).
