Srinagar, Dec 13 (KNS): Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulama Jammu and Kashmir has sought withdrawal of case against leading religious leader and president of Anjuman Sharia Shia, Agha Syed Hassan Al Mosvi Al-Safavi.
The MMU in a statement said he has always tried to promote sectarian unity and communal harmony
'The case in which Agha Sahib has been asked to appear has nothing to do with spreading religious hatred. Rather, he had played a key role in maintaining peace and order and maintaining mutual brotherhood after the incident that occurred in the Sumbal area that particular day," it said.
It added that there is no justification for such a case against him and the administration must withdraw it. (KNS)
