Srinagar, August 29 (KNS) : Apni Party’s Spokesperson and State Secretary, Muntazir Mohiuddin, paid obeisance at the revered shrine of Hazrat Syed Ali Aali Balkhi (RA) in Pakherpora village in central Kashmir’s Budgam today. He also extended greetings to the people on the occasion of the annual Urs of the Sufi saint. During his visit, Mohiuddin prayed for sustained peace and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir.
"At the revered place, Muntazir Mohiuddin prayed for sustained peace and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir. He also extended his greetings on the occasion of the annual Urs of Hazrat Syed Ali Aali Balkhi (RA), a press note said.
Notably, during these Urs days of Hazrat Syed Ali Aali Balkhi (RA), the doors of his venerated Roza Sharief are opened, attracting people from various areas of the valley who come to pay their respects.
While addressing the gathered crowd at the shrine, Muntazir requested that they pray for the peace of J&K and the holistic well-being of its people.
He said, "Hazrat Syed Ali Aali Balkhi (RA) preached the message of peace and brotherhood in the valley, guiding people on the path of spiritual enlightenment. As we stand today at this revered shrine, we should seize the opportunity to earnestly pray for the lasting peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir, as the security and better future of the people, especially the youth, rely on maintaining sustained peace in this region."
He further added, "Peace and harmony on this land will not only foster prosperity and development, but will also pave the way for political and economic empowerment for the people."
On this occasion, the Apni Party leader also appealed to the administration to make all necessary arrangements to facilitate the devotees. He requested authorities provide an additional quota of ration to the inhabitants of Pakharpora during these Urs days, as devotees from every corner come to the shrine and stay overnight.
Muntazir Mohiuddin also engaged in interactions with the esteemed Mujavirs and the management members of the Ziarat Shareef.(KNS)
