Northern Army commander visits forward areas to assess operational readiness & security situation

 Srinagar, Feb 28 (KNS): In a bid to assess the operational readiness and security landscape in the region, Lieutenant General V. Suchindra Kumar, the Army Commander of Northern Command (ArmyCdrNC), embarked on a comprehensive visit accompanied by the White Knight Corps Commander.

The strategic tour encompassed formations stationed in both forward areas and hinterlands, aimed at meticulously reviewing the prevailing security situation.
News agency KNS reported that during the inspection, Lt. Gen. Suchindra Kumar meticulously scrutinized the operational preparedness of the troops deployed in the challenging terrains.
The visit also provided an opportunity for him to interact closely with frontline personnel, gaining insights into their morale, challenges, and requirements for enhancing combat capabilities.
Accompanied by the White Knight Corps Commander, Lt. Gen. Kumar engaged in detailed discussions with key stakeholders and field commanders to strategize and reinforce the security architecture in the region.
