President All JK Shia Association Molvi Imran Reza Ansari files an official complaint

Srinagar, Feb 18(KNS): President of the All JK Shia Association, Molvi Imran Reza Ansari, has taken swift action in response to recent derogatory remarks made against the Shia community. In an official complaint filed with the Station Officer of Zadibal, Mr. Ansari addressed the dissemination of hateful rhetoric that has caused distress within the Shia community and has the potential to incite tensions within society.

The complaint highlights a live video uploaded on Facebook by Mudasir Aziz, wherein a woman made offensive and demeaning comments referring to the Shia community as "Rafizi." Such language not only violates the fundamental rights of individuals to practice their beliefs in peace but also contributes to the marginalization and victimization of the Shia community.

In his letter to the Station Officer of Zadibal, Mr. Ansari urges swift and decisive action against those involved in propagating hate speech. He emphasizes the importance of holding journalists and individuals accountable for their words and actions, especially when they contribute to the marginalization of any community.

Mr. Ansari calls for a thorough investigation into the matter and requests that appropriate legal measures be taken against the perpetrators. He also urges authorities to provide reassurance to the affected community and take steps to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

In times like these, Mr. Ansari emphasizes the importance of upholding the principles of tolerance, respect, and inclusivity. He expresses his trust in law enforcement's commitment to upholding justice and safeguarding the rights of all citizens.(KNS).
