Srinagar, Jun 10 (KNS): Haji Mohd Skindar Malik, a retired Tehsildar and a respected figure from Hayan Trehgam, passed away after a brief illness. He was the father of Farooq Ahmad Malik, a retired District Agriculture Officer, and Shabir Ahmad Malik, Senior Editor of Kashmir News Service (KNS).
Several political, social, and religious leaders have condoled his demise.
Meanwhile, Kashmir News Service Editor-in-Chief Mohd Aslam expressed deep grief over the death.
In a condolence message, Aslam described the late Malik as "a great human being who dedicated his life to serving people and remained a humble guide for his community.

Aslam prayed for peace for the departed soul and beseeched the Almighty to grant the bereaved family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
Notably, Haji Mohd Skindar Malik passed away yesterday late night however his Nimaz-e-Jinaza will be held today. (KNS)
