Sadhotra joins Shobha Yatra of Bhagwan Ram, invokes Shri Ram for fostering harmony

JAMMU JANUARY 20 (KNS):  National Conference Additional General Secretary and Former Minister Mr Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today said unwavering commitment of Bhagwan Ram in the principles of righteousness and justice will continue to inspire humanity to uphold ethical standards in life.

Participating in the Shobha Yatra at village THUB which crossed through main villages of Border in MARH, Mr Sadhotra said the life of Shri Ram reflects virtues such as righteousness, compassion, and devotion in immense measure and sets high standards of moral values for humanity to imbibe.

It is a matter of happiness that Pran Pratishtha is being done on 22 nd January 2024 and to strengthen the Aastha towards Bhagwan Ram, we must read, learn Ramayan and implement its teachings in our day to day life in letter and spirit. He said Bhagwan Ram’s life resonates as a symbol of moral integrity, fostering a sense of duty among devout, he said while invoking His values as Maryada Purshotam to foster harmony in the society which is grappling with greed, hate and injustice being perpetuated by fellow beings. These tendencies need to be eschewed for harmonious and inclusive growth of the society, he added.

This spirit has to be sustained and promoted in a big way by respecting other religions for making the world a better place to live in. Embracing diversity in faith fosters mutual understanding and tolerance and acknowledging the richness of various beliefs generates an enabling environment for coexistence and cooperation. Such respect not only promotes social unity but also contributes in building trust among communities, he said and emphasized the need for strengthening the bonds of unity and promoting a collective spirit that thrives on mutual understanding and empathy.

The NC Additional General Secretary lauded the people for maintaining high traditions of unity in diversity, the cornerstone of Jammu and Kashmir’s glorious ethos. This spirit has withstood test of times for centuries, as the people’s faith in inclusiveness has never wavered, he added.

Mr Sadhotra complimented the people for participating in the Shoba Yatra and prayed for peace and universal brotherhood. Prominent among those present in the Shobha Yatra included Tara Baba and Chela Ram, Ghar Singh Ex-Corporator, Joint Secretary Provincial National Conference, Rakesh Sharma YNC District President, Charanjit Singh Block President Marh, Ch Nagar, Ch Keemat Lal Ex-Sarpanch, Harnam Singh Bhau.(KNS)
