Srinagar, Nov 15 (KNS): Former Srinagar deputy mayor Sheikh Imran on Wednesday expressed profound sorrow and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of Doda accident victims.
"Profoundly saddened by the tragic incident reported, where a passenger bus plunged into a deep gorge in the Assar area of Doda District, resulting in the loss of lives and leaving many critically injured," Imran said.
"Words fail to capture the sorrow I feel upon learning about this heartbreaking event, claiming precious lives. My sincere condolences go out to the families who have lost their loved ones, and my thoughts are with the injured for a swift and complete recovery," he said.
"I earnestly implore the government to extend support by providing compensation to the families of the deceased and ensuring prompt medical treatment for the injured. It is crucial to address these pressing needs in the wake of such a devastating incident," he added.(KNS).
