Srinagar, Aug 24(KNS): From Sopore Town's Iqbal Nagar, a determined soul Ilka Hassan has carved her path to success with unwavering dedication and resilience.
Through her journey, she has transformed setbacks into stepping stones and emerged as a beacon of inspiration for aspirants across Jammu and Kashmir by qualifying JKAS despite initially receiving a set back.
Hassan is an alumni of St. Joseph Higher Secondary School in Baramulla. Her pursuit of knowledge led her to Hansraj College, Delhi University, where she kindled the flame of ambition for the Jammu Kashmir Administrative Services (JKAS) exam.
Undeterred by the challenges that lay ahead, she embarked on a multifaceted journey.
In her first attempt in 2021, despite the setback of an unsuccessful result, Ilka Hassan chose to rise anew.
Fueled by an unyielding spirit, she channelled her energy into a unique endeavor - an online business on Instagram, aptly named "House of Kashmir." Amidst entrepreneurial pursuits, she continued her preparations for the JKPSC exams, fortifying herself with knowledge and experience.
Throughout this arduous expedition, Ilka Hassan drew strength from her pillar of support - her family. Their unwavering belief in her dreams acted as a lifeline, helping her navigate the rough waters of self-doubt.
Teachers and seniors also played pivotal roles, offering guidance and encouragement just a phone call away.
Reflecting on her journey, Ilka Hassan said that success in the civil services demands more than just diligence; it demands introspection.
