Srinagar, May 02 (KNS): Authorities on Thursday allowed two-way light motor vehicular traffic on Srinagar-Jammu national highway, while as SSG and Mughal roads are still closed due to snowfall.
Officials said that light motor vehicles have been allowed on both sides of Srinagar-Jammu national highway. They said that one way heavy motor vehicular traffic on the stretch has also been allowed.
The officials however advised commuters to follow lane discipline, as overtaking will lead to congestion on the highway.
They added that traffic on SSG road and Mughal road are still in suspension due to snowfall.
The officials also added that a fresh landslide occurred near Shikargah Dogrian on Mughal road which impedes the ongoing restoration work. (KNS)
