Srinagar, May 18 (KNS): Senior CPI(M) leader and legislator Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami expressed grief over the demise of Haji Khazir Mohammad Sheikh, father of jailed Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid.
In a statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) legislator Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami said he was “deeply saddened” to hear about the passing of Rashid’s father and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul.

“May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah and rest his soul in eternal peace,” he said.
He also extended condolences and solidarity to the bereaved family, especially Engineer Rashid. (KNS)
