Those find voilating traffic rules will be punished under law: SSP Rural Traffic

Baramulla, Jan 04 (KNS): The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic Rural Kashmir Ravinder Pal Singh on Thursday visited Boniyar Tehsil area in North Kashmir's Baramulla district and conducted a special drive on  Baramulla-Uri National Highway to curb accidents.

SSP traffic emphasized that the special drive was aimed to raise awareness among the public and deter traffic violators from breaching traffic rules.

The drive specifically targeted violators, with a focus on triple riders, stunt bikers, and minors driving, which currently pose significant challenges to the Traffic Police.

Accompanied by DySP Traffic North, Mujahid Nazir, and the concerned DTI and others, SSP Traffic booked one vehicle who were found without documents.

Moreover, SSP Traffic has requested parents not allow their minor children to drive and warned of strict action against the parents whose children would be found involved in any traffic violation.

The vehicle operators were briefed to ply their respective vehicles within the prescribed speed limit and avoid overloading, rash and negligent/stunt driving on road, so that the precious human lives could be saved.(KNS).
